Re: Sean Paytons New Book
Yes, I bought it on iBooks on my iPhone yesterday and read the whole thing in one day. You can tell that Payton is not a naturally gifted writer. But the book does a great job of walking you through the years of 2006-2010. It has a lot of insight into what actually is said and done "behind the scenes" and it has some very touching moments.
Obviously, this is not pulitzer prize material, and I am looking forward to Drew Brees' book much more (July 6th), but if your a true Saints fan, it's a great addition to your memory collection. Mine includes two copies of the Times Picayune from Superbowl Sunday and Monday morning after the Superbowl that I picked up as soon as the doors opened up at Walgreens in the French Quarter. SI Championship DVD and Book, (the football has never and probably will never come). Hopefully I will add the Superbowl ring to my collection on September 9th. |
