In short, we're screwed.

During the next free agency/draft period, we will simply have too many slots to fill and not enough money or picks to fill them.

We basically need to draft/free agent an O-Line to play round LeCharles. That means 4 players.

We basically need to draft/free agent 2 corners and 1 safety.

We basically need to draft/free agent 2 linebackers.

We basically need to just suck it up and pony up the cash for Darren Howard, because we might want to get another DT and don't need to start looking for an end too.

I don't see how we can do without another 10 starters, which likely means another season of mediocrity or worse. But I agree with Gator and Gandy won't return, Folau isn't a solution, Fontenot won't have much left in the tank and Riley is dubious at best on his side.

Notice I'm not even touching the QB position, but as you can probably tell, we need another one of those too. But even if we took Eli and every redneck in Mississippi bought season tickets and a new "Manning" jersey, he's still going to spend a lot of time on the turf with the guys we have blocking for him.
