Manning is way out front at the moment. I guess the difference is that Brees has never completed a pass to Porter.

Just look at the career numbers Manning has put up, look at the win - loss record of the Colts since he was drafted, there is no one close to any of that right now. Manning should be able to shatter most all time passing records relatively soon. Brees did lead the Saints to a championship, and the previous season almost caught Marino's season yardage record. Still, when looking at the entire picture, Manning is rightfully number 1.
