With Haslet gone all we\'ll have is Rick Mueller and Mickey Loomis as GM and head personnel men. Are we confident that Rick can handle this or is even the best man for the job? I\'m not. Thus, even if we bring in a new coach he\'d need to be somebody experienced in talent evaluations at this level. Bringing in a college coach is a risky proposition with this set up. The best answer, if Benson doesn\'t want to make a GM change, in my opinion would be Dennis Green. Give him the same power over personnel that Haslet has and he just might be willing to take the job. He has proven what he can do with a team and seemed to be a good motivator. He also has experience with bringing along young QB\'s. I don\'t think the fit could be any better. |
