Brees' book is outselling SP's!

Brees bests Payton in book sales | ProFootballTalk.com

Even more funny are the comments from still disgruntled Viqueens fans if you scroll down a bit once you hit the link. Here is a snippet!

"Childress' new book

Chapter One- How to placate an ego maniac
Chapter Two- 3 Hookers and a boat
Chapter Three-Remembering the Whizzenater
Chapter Four-Dealing with a fan base that elects a coke head to the senate
Chapter Five- And a pro wrestler as Governor
Chapter Six- How to get away with pumping music in to the stadium because your fans aren't loud enough
Chapter Seven- We've sold out every game since '98, Thanks to Target for giving away tickets
Chapter Nine- Won day we might win a Super Bowl
Chapter Ten- FUMBLE!!!
Chapter Eleven- This ain't Detroit man, it's the Super Bowl
Chapter Eleven- This might be my last year if we don't win (TWO CHAPTER ELEVEN's BECAUSE I GET MIXED UP WHEN I COUNT THAT HIGH) - see last years NFCCG"

Chapter ten would seem rather interesting ...

Re: Brees' book is outselling SP's!

I'm most of the way through Brees' book, but haven't started Home Team yet.
I'm a life-long, die-hard Saints fan, but I have to say I haven't enjoyed Brees' book all that much... Hoping for more from Payton's book.

Some parts of Brees' book are great, but he spends a LOT of ink repeatedly talking about how 'God has a plan for me, I don't know what the plan is, I have to trust God's plan,' etc.
He hits on this so many times throughout the book, I start to feel like I'm being preached to when reading it.

Payton's book was very enlightening on the decisions that were made and what goes on in the thought and decision making process.

Hats off to Loomis. 'No commuting from Dallas to coach, you're all in are you're all out'. So Sean and company moved and became apart of the fabric of New Orleans and its people. They became embedded and they got why the Saints and the people or so special, that they had to win.

Re: Brees' book is outselling SP's!

I finally got both books in the mail this week! (Amazon sucks!)

I haven't started Coach Payton's book yet, but I'm halfway through Drew's book and I don't want to put it down!

Chilly's book looks hilarious, but they forgot the chapter where his lips are perma-planted to Favre's ass.

There might be a plan in a prologue or something for that very subject. Perhaps we can get Halo to publish it for us!
