love our ranking but we really should have blown the nfl away if porter, greer,will smith chips out.

Will Smith not being at least red chip is somewhat puzzling (maybe because 2009 was his "breakout" season). Greer and Porter were left off because they only played about half a season due to injury.
However, just Porter's huge plays in the playoffs and Super Bowl should have given him the nod to at least red chip status. And Jabari Greer allowed no TD passes last season, except for Roddy White's pushoff in the Superdome. If these two stay healthy this season, they will be included in at least red chip status next offseason. And maybe one will be on Brian Baldinger's next list of top 5 DBs. |
