Heath Evans for a FULL Season
Anybody remember this guy? Somehow he seems to have gotten lost in the championship melee. I had my doubts at the start of last season, especially being a big Mike Karney fan, but Evans killed all of my doubts and once again, showed me that Peyton and the front office has a great eye for talent. I've been wondering just how much better we would have been with Evans healthy the whole season. Better protection? Better running game? More options for Peyton/Brees? His numbers weren't over the top, but watching him do his do, and the results were impressive. There seemed to be something missing the weeks after he went down last year. I hope that we get a full season of Evans talents this year. Its scary to think that our offense could get Evan better.

Re: Heath Evans for a FULL Season
Yep! Thomas did a great job. I just hate that when Evans is on the field, someone else is NOT. Kind of bites that we can't have 2 TE's and 4 wideouts at the same time, but its a good problem to have. His presence should improve our short yardage struggles.

Re: Heath Evans for a FULL Season
If he is healthy our running game is 50% better right out of the gate, and if we scared teams with our offense last year, with an improved running game some of them might not show up on Sundays.

When was the last time there was a forfeit in the NFL? Can you imagine that headline?

Re: Heath Evans for a FULL Season
Hope he's healthy. Our offense has flirted with greatness the last four years, but I think this year we'll see a real offensive explosion. It's going to be ridiculous.
