Two sides to the vid on the offensive line push success. Either the DL sucks more or we're actually better at the run.

To me it looked like the O line was just getting a better push. Not only that, the running backs looked really good and ran very hard. PJ Hill looked especially good hitting the hole and breaking arm tackles. The crowd had a lot to cheer for when the running backs got the ball. On the flip side no one on the defense stood out. I was hoping for a repeat of last years skirmishes between the O line and D line. Everything was amiable. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

From what I heard from today's (Sunday's) practice, the D was much better against the RBs. We do want the RBs to gain good yardage consistently, just not against our own D.

when it becomes an even battle, e.g RB's have great performance, next day the D play well against the run, this is how we know that both units are improving. I for one loved seeing our RB's bowl over people last season, threw the opponents D off balance, and when u have brees the best thing you can do is keep the D off balance, when we do he makes the performance look so effortless, just like against the patriots last year, they did not know what was going to be called next
