I'm ordering my copy of the retirement video tonight. Just think of all the fabulous moments in Brett Favres retirement package........the tears, the attempts not to cry and (wait for it)more tears. Kleenex should be his next endorsement after the depends commercial. lol

Re: Brett Favre to Retire!
If Favre makes his "retirement" announcement at a news conference later, as expected, then there is a 50-50 chance that he will actually retire.
It is more serious than trivial this time, with the way Vikings management is scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off. They have offered Favre more $$$ to come back. But, I think whether its $20 million, or the $13 million his contract calls for, if his ankle hasn't healed properly, this may be it. Or maybe Bobby McCray will drive to Kiln and beg him to show up for the game Sept 9. |

Re: Brett Favre to Retire!
When (if) he makes his official announcement, I'm hoping he cries again.
I don't care if that makes me an evil b*tch, it's funny as hell! ![]() |

Re: Brett Favre to Retire!
I believe he is done when the Vikings take the field on Sept 9 and I see Jackson in the huddle and not Farve. He's still got a month to change his mind and come back

Re: Brett Favre to Retire!
UH OH! HERE WE GO AGAIN
USA Today - 48 minutes ago Family insider: Brett Favre still mulling retirement decision Brett Favre has not yet made a decision on whether to return to the Minnesota Vikings for the 2010 NFL season, an unnamed person close to Favre's family told the Biloxi Sun Herald. Earlier Tuesday, the AP, Fox Sports and Minneapolis Star Tribune reported that Favre had informed the Vikings that he had opted against playing. "Brett has not made a commitment to play or a decision to return at this point," the Favre insider told the Sun-Herald. Favre's brother, Scott Favre, also spoke to the Sun-Herald. "I have heard no truth to that (retirement)," Scott Favre said. "I know he can still play and I want him to keep playing." Vikings coach Brad Childress denied after Tuesday morning's practice that Favre had told him he would be retiring. He called the situation "very fluid."
