Finally … proof Favre is really returning

As Rich Eisen is fond of saying, Favre Watch is all about intrigue and unanswered questions.

Yes, it is. And we might finally have the proof that we’ve been needing, enough to finally answer the question we think we already know the answer to.

Minneapolis radio host and columnist Patrick Reusse has the scoop, according to his inside sources, that Deanna Favre has renewed her membership at Lifetime Fitness to cover the season.

So, Brett Favre isssss coming back!

Re: Favre hasn't decided on retirement

This season could be seen as the media blowing things out of proportion, because it is understandable coming off an injury and surgery. The previous three seasons? I'm not buying it. Favre has brought most of this on himself from the first time he pulled the stunt when he was with the Packers. That's why they drafted Aaron Rodgers. They were looking ahead to their future, because they had look out for themselves. The only reason he ended up with the Jets for that one season was because the Packers wised up and said they were going to move on without him after he pulled the stunt a 2nd time. Favre got his fragile feelings and ego hurt, so he said he was coming back. When told he was going to have to compete for the starting spot, he wasn't having any of that. He just felt it should have been gift-wrapped to him. The Jets quickly learned from the Packers, and drafted Sanchez when Favre decided to "retire" again. The Vikings are so desperate to win that they are going to keep the saga going. They haven't learned, but they should have. They should have prepared themselves for their future at QB even after having signed Favre last year. That's why they are scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off to offer him more money in hopes that it entices him to stay with the team. I mean seriously. Do the names "Tarvaris Jackson" or "Sage Rosenfels" strike fear into opposing defenses? They are ill-prepared to go on without him, so they will try to keep up by any means necessary. The Vikings are dumb, and Brett Favre is stringing them along like a teenage girl that just lost her virginity to him. Not really caring what he does that may hurt them, but doing just enough to keep himself satisfied. At least the Packers and Jets saw through his BS got rid of the prima donna.

Why is the media rewriting history. The surgery that drama queen had on his ankle was to remove bone spurs and scar tissue. Neither of those is caused by an acute injury. They're both age related. NOW we're hearing that he had reconstructive surgery! I have news for everyone. Reconstructive surgery requires 6 to 9 months of healing and rehab. You don't play two months after you have that. The simple fact is that the surgery and that clown's ankle problem are NOT a result of the injury he faked in the NFC championship game.

Yeah...he was faking...no doubt.

That's bad enough to come back from at 20 but 40+....

Brett certainly has my respect what ever he does.

This only solidifies the fact that Brett is the ultimate Drama Viqueen. I too don't dislike Brett but this proves why Brett can't give football up. His ego is so big and needs constant nourishment that he has to be, always and forever, the center of attention. As I have said before what else does he need to accomplish as he is a shoe-in for the HOF on first ballot. He already has more money than his grandkids could spend, so what's up? The ego won't let him go out with grace as Kurt Warner did. 'Nuff said Brett, if your going to play get your South Mississippi a** in training camp. If you can play around at Oak Grove with a bunch of high schoolers you can be in Minnihaha with your team. I really want him to be in the Dome Sept. 9 to prove to all the naysayers the Saints are the real deal . . . Believe Dat!

Its the same song and dance year after year now and its getting old. He's still got over a month before the season starts so this is far from over. Wish he'd just make up his mind so I can start watching NFLN again
