Re: Favre hasn't decided on retirement

This season could be seen as the media blowing things out of proportion, because it is understandable coming off an injury and surgery. The previous three seasons? I'm not buying it. Favre has brought most of this on himself from the first time he pulled the stunt when he was with the Packers. That's why they drafted Aaron Rodgers. They were looking ahead to their future, because they had look out for themselves. The only reason he ended up with the Jets for that one season was because the Packers wised up and said they were going to move on without him after he pulled the stunt a 2nd time. Favre got his fragile feelings and ego hurt, so he said he was coming back. When told he was going to have to compete for the starting spot, he wasn't having any of that. He just felt it should have been gift-wrapped to him. The Jets quickly learned from the Packers, and drafted Sanchez when Favre decided to "retire" again. The Vikings are so desperate to win that they are going to keep the saga going. They haven't learned, but they should have. They should have prepared themselves for their future at QB even after having signed Favre last year. That's why they are scrambling around like chickens with their heads cut off to offer him more money in hopes that it entices him to stay with the team. I mean seriously. Do the names "Tarvaris Jackson" or "Sage Rosenfels" strike fear into opposing defenses? They are ill-prepared to go on without him, so they will try to keep up by any means necessary. The Vikings are dumb, and Brett Favre is stringing them along like a teenage girl that just lost her virginity to him. Not really caring what he does that may hurt them, but doing just enough to keep himself satisfied. At least the Packers and Jets saw through his BS got rid of the prima donna.
