Saints Training Camp 8.5.2010

This morning’s practice held indoor, thank God. Notes from this morning:

You will never get an autograph from Drew. He doesn’t get off the field for anything, not even for water.

#35 Reggie Jones, CB Who is this guy? this guy flies, and hits hard. He had two interception in the two minute drills.

#25 Reggie Bush, I had an photo op in the locker room but felt funny standing next to a half naked man……I didn’t want to upstage him…ok, I kid.

Wide Receiver Coach Curtis Johnson was cool as hell. He is a well revered WR coach in the NFL. He let us stay back and got Colston and Meachem to sign autograph.

Meachem and Colston were so mellow, especially for WR

#80 Jimmy Graham drafted rookie tight end is a HUGE target with great hands. As a former basketball player at 6ft 6, there’s nobody that will out jump him.

Hartley kicked a 60 yarder easily

I’m sorry about the quality of the pix but the lighting was bad and flashes were not allowed.

JIMMY GRAHAM!!!!!! lmao can't wait to see some football! looking forward to see how to D reacts in the second year of GW's system, i'm expecting massive things!!!!

The defense especially the secondary dominated the offense that day. Neither three QB's scored in the two minute drill. After they stopped Brees, he let it a loud holler with frustration.

The defense were like a gentlemen's club, those guys were "strippers". The d would try to strip the ball at the end of every play even when the offensive players were on the ground. Naturely, many of the offensive players were getting annoyed, especially Shockey.
