![]() The New Orleans Saints again worked on their 2-minute drill in the afternoon practice, and the starting offense did not deliver in sterling fashion.
First, with the team trailing by 3, quarterback Drew Brees just overthrew a streaking Lance Moore, who had beaten cornerback Tracy Porter, missing a sure touchdown. Brees came back to hit Moore twice to pick up first downs, but the offense was eventually forced to settle for a 52-yard field goal (not attempted). Brees finished 6 for 11, and one of the incompletes was a ball it appeared cornerback Jabari Greer should have intercepted, one of two possible turnovers the defense dropped in the afternoon, continuing a disappointing training camp trend.
