this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He never was a speaker. He never spoke well. While I am glad he is in THoF and that he got a SB ring from histime with the 49's, I wish his people had written a sweet, short, easy speech ...

Re: Loved Ricky Jackson's Speech.
He never was a speaker. He never spoke well.
While I am glad he is in THoF and that he got a SB ring from histime with the 49's, I wish his people had written a sweet, short, easy speech for him. A lists of thanks to his hometown, ONCE, his university, Saints, 49's, NFL, Tom Benson, N.O. fans, and SF fans , something like that.I did like his reference to his hometown in that he wanted his name on the welcome sign like Mel Tillis. That was cute. I liked when he said he did not know he did all that in reference to his film. That was cute too. Anyway, good RJ. He was a really part of N.O.Saints. |

Playmaker and gamechanger. The man spoke from the heart, I thought it was cool.
