Madden NFL 11 won't be released until midnight tonight, but that didn't stop the city of New Orleans from joining forces with EA Sports for a celebration Mardi Gras style.
EA Sports came down to the Big Easy and decided to celebrate the game's release (August 10) in a way that is very befitting of New Orleans. With Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees on the cover, it seemed even more appropriate. Downtown New Orleans saw a day highlighted by live musical performances, food, fun, plenty of stations to play the new game, and a host of former football greats. It was a great set-up all around Fulton Street near Harrah's Casino. The day started off with the "Cajun Cannon" Bobby Hebert (former Saints' quarterback) getting up on stage to introduce the rest of the crew he brought along with him.
