A Wednesday MRI confirmed that Saints RB Lynell Hamilton suffered a torn ACL at this morning's practice.
He's out for the year. The 2010 season is setting up very well for Pierre Thomas, who now has only marginal talents P.J. Hill and Chris Ivory to fend off for goal-line carries. Short-yardage backs won't be hard to find after final cuts, but anyone acquired in September will take time to learn the offense.
