Ok...pre season was designed to shake the cob web off of your feet ...now we can go and look back at where improvements are needed. Seemed to me the defense especially needs work and some tweaking...nothing wrong with loosing this one,,i think it was the best thing that coulda happend because now you'll really where this team is really at and go work on it.

I thought the first string looked ineffective. If it hadn't been for the interference call on a long bomb our scoring drive would have failed. Having said that I'm sort of glad that we looked sloppy. It'll give Payton a lot of ammunition to motivate his players. Fortunately it just looked like the timing was off on offense and defense just couldn't tackle. Both are correctable.
