Before the season, I was worried about how this team would do against its tough early season schedule: Bucs, Bears, Pack, 49ers and what looked like a good 'Skins D. Now that we have cruised through the early season, the future is cream cheese. Atlanta twice (yes, I know Vick is dangerous), Carolina twice (yes, I know about the 3-0 start, but RANDY FASANI? They have been exposed), Minnesota (yes, I know about the Randy Ratio. That explains the disdain), Baltimore (yes, I know about the dangerous D, but they can't score) and BOTH Ohio teams (yes, I can see that this has become an annoying conceit).
The only actual game we have left is Round 2 against TB. (yes, I remember the Detroit game. Any Given Sunday blah blah blah.) The Saints have gone from being clearly underrated to a potential 15-1 team (knock on wood) that are going to be VERY overrated come playoff time. I am going to enjoy every second of the season smacking around the patsies. And then I am going to sweat bullets when all of the teams we beat in September and October come to the Superdome for revenge in the playoffs. |

The Saints have to win the ones they are supposed to win. That is the mark of a true champion. We can\'t have another let down because other teams are really watching now to see if they can sniff out any weaknesses

I kinda had a feeling we were looking past Detroit to the Steelers game. I hope that taught the team a lesson, and I think it did. Nothin would make me happier than to sweep Atlanta, and I certainly think we can, but a split is probably more likely. We definately have the talent to run the table from here on out...and if we EVER get Dale Carter back in the mix the odds only get better. I know its Chiche, but lets just take \'em one at a time!

Michael Vick? This guy is special. How do you defend him? I think you have to put a spy on him. Watch him just like you watch any great reciever or running back.We need a healthy Charlie Clemons for this. He has the speed to watch for Vick and the nose for the ball. Even hurt he did an admireable job in the second half on Garcia. These games against Atlanta are not going to be easy but i think the Saints learned after the Lions game not to take anyone to lightly. The last part of the season won\'t be a cake walk but the Saints have the tools to finish with a bang. As a wish old philosopher once said\" Kill them all and let God sort em out\" Go Saints

Excuse me while I go find a place to vomit. This has been the worst season in a lifetime of bad seasons rooting for this team. I have never had such genuine, rational hope dashed so completely. And now I have to go to work and deal with Giants AND Jets fans who have playoff teams to root for.
