this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Wondering what the latest news is on Morstead? I think he is a huge part of the team and his loss could dramatically impact field position for the opposition. Kudos to Hartley for getting right up with the long snapper ...

Anyone know the status on Morstead?
Wondering what the latest news is on Morstead?
I think he is a huge part of the team and his loss could dramatically impact field position for the opposition. Kudos to Hartley for getting right up with the long snapper and working on punts before Morstead even got up off the field. I thought he did a pretty good job of punting considering the circumstances. |

I gotta be honest...I still haven't watched the whole game...but I got it on tivo. I did see his first punt, a booming 55 yarder, and if the rest of his kicks were like that then I say hasta la vista to what's his name? j/k, but that first one was a boomer to be sure.

Moorestead is rapidly becoming one of my favorite players........oh yeah, I spent a good bit of time talking to him . He's a really good guy and a heck of a punter. Not too bad at kick offs either.
