Players on the rise are indicated with a + symbol (up to three). Players whose stock is on the decline are noted with a # symbol (up to three). All stats are passing only. Michael DeMocker / The Times-Picayune Drew Brees is a sure-fire top-round pick in just about every fantasy draft across the country. 1. Drew Brees, New Orleans (Bye: 10) Three-year stats: 47G, 295 yds/gm, 96TD, 46Int Breakdown: Really, is there anything bad to say about the Super Bowl MVP? I certainly can’t think of anything, and I can’t think of a reason not to make him your No. 1 quarterback selection. Sure, you probably can’t go wrong with Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, but simply put, Drew Brees is the best quarterback in football right now. Real football or fantasy football, period. Just don’t get too caught up drafting him before the top four RBs. Basically, the way it works is, if you have one of the first four picks, you just can’t have Brees. If you want to win, that is.
