Betts Contract Details
Can't argue these numbers...
2007 – ~93 carries 2008 – ~60 carries 2009 – ~70 carries (major knee injury, ACL/MCL) By no means was Betts ever a top runner, not even in his prime - I'm not expecting much... I'm actually holding hope that one of the young guys step it up and take the 3rd spot! |

well, that's kind of misleading. he was always behind portis who the skins stuck with forever even when HE sucked. and when portis went down (which he always does) betts stepped in just fine. note the games he had more carries, he did well. he'll be ok.

Ivory is a good runner. He's strong and fast. I like watching him run. But he scares me with the amount of fumbles and stripped balls he gives up.

Thats very true, its often said that Blitz pickup is the hardest thing for a young back to learn, with betts being a 9 year veteran he has basically seen it all and done it all. Least his knowledge will help the younger guys!
