EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin has been taken to a hospital by ambulance after passing out at the beginning of practice.

The Associated Press
This June 12, 2010, file photo shows Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin preparing to make a reception during an off-season training session at the teams football training facility in Eden Prairie, Minn.
Coach Brad Childress says Harvin was able to speak, but was disoriented for a few minutes after he passed out at Thursday's practice. Childress says Harvin may have had a migraine headache attack, and he was taken to an unspecified hospital. Harvin has suffered from migraines all his life and missed most of training camp this season.

I will admit, Percy is one tough dude. Football is the last sport, except perhaps hockey, that I'd want to be playing if had chronic migraines. It's something to be careful with.

I don't get migraines thank budda, but I did have and amazingly painful headache about 3 years ago and I wanted to bust a cap in my own azz it hurt so bad.

I feel for this guy cause it has to be amazingly frustrating for him. Hope he can get some relief.

I've never had migraines either. I had a doctor explain to me once that a migrain is the same feeling of a seious brain freeze, the kind you get when drinking an Icee too fast, only it doesn't go away after 15-20 seconds. You guys that have them, is this a good description?
