Thursday wasn't a long day for the New Orleans Saints as they had one practice in the morning with the Houston Texans and then an afternoon of weightlifting and meetings. Luckily though, the Saints were able to make this practice not nearly as one-sided as they had been the past couple days.
Injuries still are few and far between which is a good sign so here is your list of those sitting out for the Saints: ~ Darren Sharper ~ Clint Ingram ~ Usama Young ~ Stanley Arnoux ~ Jimmy Graham ~ Marcus Mailei ~ Jonathan Stinchcomb Stinchcomb sat out with a banged up shoulder, but coach Sean Payton said it was nothing serious and he should be find for the preseason game on Saturday. "He had a bruised shoulder from yesterday. He should be fine for the game; we just backed off his snaps this morning." One of the biggest things to come about from Thursday's practice is that the smooth nature of training camp so far was officially thrown out the window. Old emotions and probably some new ones hit the field as a few fights broke out between the Saints and Texans. None of them were really anything serious or overly long, but it was kind of good to see the fire that was missing from the black and gold. First of all was a little brawl that started when Saints' Chip Vaughn pulled Texans' running back Chris Henry down by his hair.
