A victory on Saturday night brought me to the realization that the New Orleans Saints...well, it kept me right at about the same place I was already in.
This is the preseason and an opening game loss against the New England Patriots had a lot of people concerned or worrying about the upcoming season. Problems arose such as poor tackling and shoddy special teams. "Fans" even began wondering what was wrong with the starting offense and defense. A few quotes such as "They better not tank," and "Look, it's the same old Saints" hit my ears. That's rather disappointing and brings forth the fact that the fair weather fan still exist. Yes there were problems shown in that first game, but it was the first game of the preseason and that's sort of expected. New Orleans then got back on the field this past Saturday against the Houston Texans and not only showed that the starters were just fine, but that the Saints have a plethora of talent in the second and third strings. Chase Daniel being the prime example as he battles it out with Patrick Ramsey for the spot as Drew Brees' back-up.
