The New Orleans Saints have a tumultuous schedule ahead of them for the 2010 season and a target is directly on their backs as the defending Super Bowl champions. No matter if the teams they face were in the playoffs last year or are coming off a three-win season, pulling in a victory over the champions would be a major notch in the belt.
So far the season has been broken into three tiers and only one remains. The season has been split up according to how important these games are to the season of the New Orleans Saints. Will a win affect their playoff run? Will a loss against this team from the AFC negatively impact their seeding? How important is it to claim another division win? So much goes into playoff seeding, home field advantage, and even just getting into the playoffs period. Ties or conference records and even how many points a team scores can help them get the edge over another team with the exact same record at the end of the season. Therefore, the Saints' upcoming season has so far been broken down into these three parts: ~ Breaking Down the Saints' Season Part I ~ Breaking Down the Saints' Season Part II ~ Breaking Down the Saints' Season Part III Now we are going to look at the four most important games the Saints will play in throughout the entire 2010 football season. The first three parts were shown in numerical order, but this final part is going to be counted down from the fourth most important game down to number one. read more |
