Ramsey is a average at best journeyman. With performance being about even you may as well put the stock in the younger guy who's had an extra year in the system. As stated, we likely won't get him to the practice squad again.

I like Chase, if for no other reason than he doesn't come with baggage. As other's have said, he does have some time in the system, and he looked good his last time out. Assuming both play decent in the final game, give the nod to the younger guy.

I think it's Chase Daniel. He already has a year of study under Drew Brees. He knows the playbook. He's young. He's got a lot of upside, and he's performed well in the preseason so far.

Chase can go on the practice squad one more time, but he wont last 5 minutes. My thoughts are Ramsey gets cut.

Daniels could back up Drew and probably do fine if need be. Hopefully, that won't be necessary. Fortunately we still have one more preseason game to evaluate the players. Although if the NFL had their way we'd be playing nearly 52 weeks a year without preseason games.
