If memory serves me right, Shockey played at less than 100% for quite a bit the season before last....Groin issues too.

Groins are easily re-aggrivated. I'd rather have him sit out until that thing is completely healed. In for two, then sit for two, could make the defense look real raggedy. Even if we take a hit early, it would be to our benefit to have a healthy Vilma down the stretch.

Jonathan Vilma a lil update....your boy is doing well rehabbing and taking it one day at a time. can't rush it though,, i want to be there sept 9th!!

they said it was'nt the type that needed surgery. i know any groin injury is'nt any good but this type has to let payton and the staff breathe a little easier. it will take a bit of rehabing but a week off will do wonders in the football world; trust me.

Don't know about you guys, but this injury to Vilma scares me. Just seeing his reaction and knowing the history of past groin injuries with this team... It could be bad news for Mr. Vilma.

My fingers are crossed - which makes it harder to drink beer.
