Out of the above players, Vaughn and Ross will likely end up on the Saints' practice squad, assuming no other team puts in a claim to them (assuming they clear 24 hours of waivers--from 3 pm Saturday).

If more than one team claims a player, there is a pecking order to determine which team has the higher priority (the Saints begin this process dead last in the pecking order, having won the last SB).

Sharper and Ingram to PUP....but we all knew that already.

That leaves two more cuts to make.

I thought Vaughn was the big hitter and McCray I'm sure we would've kept after we brought him back but I guess the young guns are hungry on a Superbowl team.

I think Vaughn will be back and put on the practice squad, as for McCray - I liked him, but plain and simple he didn't get it done, Plus Junior Galette caused havoc in preseason and stole the spotlight, With our current DE's McCray wouldn't really have a chance.

Vaughn, Ross, Carter, Billings, Woods, Coleman, Jones, Parnell to PS. It is limited to 8 players. All assuming these players pass through waivers.
