Retire Aaron Brooks Jersey #2 ???
I mean... do you really think it would be missed?
Do you really want to ever see that number again? Thoughts.... http://msnbcmedia1.msn.com/j/ap/caps...2244.widec.jpg |
I wouldn't care if I saw it again, unless the guy wearing it was dumb as a box of rocks like Brooks.
God I don't miss those backwards passes where his arm goes forward and the ball goes behind him somehow.....Oh god....I think I'm gonna be sick...
Look on the bright side, if his number is not retired, he's still available in case Brees goes down.
WTF..FF..u have a man crush on Brooks...lol

I don't think his jersey should be retired mostly because he would then be immortalized in the Dome and it would suck if people thought he was worthy.lol What we need is a wall of shame where he could headline.

How about if we just burn the number - then we never speak of it again!!

I'd say black ball him but I believe he was born that way.

My opinion,,(just my opinion alone) ,Joe Horn's number should have been given the honor of retirement #87. If you're a New Orleans resident and live with the lean years the Saints had..you'll know who Joe Horn really was. He was a real Saint. The people's player. More so than Duece. Joe Horn lobbied like hell and he raised so much hell with Tom Benson and the NFL when news broke out that San Antonio was going after the Saints after Katrina. Joe Horn was the first player to go back to New Orleans to check on his city and people especially the 9th Ward. Residence there was uplifted by his presence and help, He assured the Big Easy that the Saints will not move to Texas. 2005 was a year that we'll never forget,,and I wont forget number 87. I as former resident of New Orleans wish to thank Joe for his service to this city. Thank You Joe.

That frikin mouth kept the Saints in New Orleans. Where it belongs. Paul Taglibue finally realize that after the meeting with Joe.
New Haven Ct's Joe Horn
What ever,,,i was here along with thousands of us who hunkered down in the Dome. We dint know the future of the city nor the team. Forget i posted anything about a good man,,a friend who was there for us. I'll just keep my mouth shut and just read the news. Thats all i wanted to do from the beginning any way. peace!
Joe is a good man, and was a great SAINT.
Oh yea... ask Willie Roaf.

WW!!! In the making lol

I'd rather just forget about him and forget about the number he wore. He actually did ok for us for a little while there, but yes it was clear that he wasn't the brightest QB ever. I'm glad we got Brees when we did. Brooks just didn't have the IQ to play the position. He had decent skills though.
You talkin' about Joe "toot my own" Horn and #2 AB? I agree that Horn's # should get consideration but not AB. I will admit one thing. AB's number was most appropriate...considering he played like #2!
I don't think it should be retired. It's not the number's fault it got stuck with Brooks. One day someone will come along and give that poor number the respect it deserves. LOL
