Well he knows he won it. Sucks that they're making him give it back. Everyone around the world saw him win it though. You can't change that. That's what I don't get about stripping awards. I thought the same about Brian Cushing's award. Even if you hate the guy, it doesn't change the fact that he won the award.

But you can't let a guy who cheats get away with it.

Yeah you're right, but it depends how they define "cheat". In Reggie's case, money has nothing to do with playing the game, besides maybe a little comfort.

The thing that pisses me off is its right before we play on thursday....I hope Reggie blocks this crap out and runs wild on Minnhaha...Use it for motivation Reggie..show em brah!!

But I heard after the report initially came out, that it was reported inaccurately by Yahoo Sports. Someone on ESPN said they spoke with the committee that decides this (an independent panel of professionals), and that the report was untrue...that No decision had been made. Almost made me think it was propaganda intentionally leaked by yahoo sports (AKA viking fan)...
Did anyone else see this? It was on ESPN at around 11-ish, CST.... |
I'm all for the people who broke the rules to actually get punished in some way. For the most part that doesn't happen. The players left at the schools always get punished by not being able to play for titles and in bowl games. Reggie knowingly broke the rules. If they remove his name from the Heisman, oh well.
