Good Game
Thought both teams looked rather rusty. Our offense, other than that one drive looked really rusty. But that didn't surprise me one bit. We had the same type of performance against Cleveland last year. It's just that, unfortunately for us, you guys aren't Cleveland.
With that said, I still expect both teams to be there at the end. I honestly thought, after that first drive, you guys were just going to shred our defense through the air. I was quite surprised with how well our secondary held up to be honest. Obviously I'm disappointed by the loss. But I think we, as Viking fans, have something to hold our heads up about (going into the game, all of the cards were stacked against us). You guys made a nice adjustment in the second half of figuring out how to get Phat Pat blocked, so Kudo's to you guys. Some of that could be not being in game shape, though too. Would be interesting if we were to meet up again at some point in the playoffs. Again, congrats and good luck the rest of the way (unless we meet you in the playoffs). |

It just seems to me, Favre just doesnt have it this year. After the best year of his career last year and being as old as he is; plus his ankle, I doubt he has another one in him.

Favre will be fine ...
The VikeQueens, however, will be out in the Wild Card round ... It's too bad honestly --- I like the Favre story and wouldn't mind seeing him have a good run. I just don't think they are as good this year as last. Just sayin' |

Don't let this win get to your heads. It's 1 of 16. I said that before the game back in August. If the Vikes would've won, I would've taken the same approach. All this means right now...you have a one game lead on us (with head to head tie breaker) with 15 games remaining. Nothing more, nothing less. |

Though it wasn't well executed for either side, good game Saints fan. Good luck.

I agree both teams looked a little rusty. Our D really needs to improve on stopping the run.
It was a very good game tonight. Good luck with the rest of the season. |

Vikes4Favre - good post and thanks for the kudos.
Didn't know that we could've expected more from your offense considering Favre was on his couch 2 weeks ago. Right? Good adjustments from both sides. I thought both teams played it safe. Enuf said. I'm sure there is plenty of disappointment from both sides as well. |

The Vikings d looked amazing, especially considering the injuries we have. The Saints defense was good, but really it all came down to better coaching. The Vikings moved the ball very well right before the end of the half and scored that td. The Saints had trouble running in the first half. At halftime the coaches made adjustments and found a way to run and also shut the vikings o down. While Brad Childress decided to just let Favre make the plays. Kudos to the Saints staff and their defense.
