Jared Allen is a cheap shot artist and over rated.

Bushrod is a talented young player who's only going to get better. And he's already very good.

I agree with both of these assessments. I've been thinking for a while that Allen is overrated. I will give it to him that he is good, but he's not great like much of the media makes him out to be. He's a fun interview. That is all. What was it against the Packers HORRIBLE offensive line last year? 6 1/2? 7 1/2 sacks? Take those two games away and he put up mediocre stats the rest of the year. Bushrod dominated him all game long. His footwork and pass blocking has improved immensely since last year. Not that he was just terrible, and one game does not make a season, but you can tell he has learned a lot at the LT position. He kept Allen away from Brees which is what matters.

Did anybody else catch Allen's introduction at the beginning of the game. Most guys name their college, some name their high school. Allen, Culinary Academy. Love him or hate him, he is definitely a character.

Jared Allen's wife is currently enrolled in a culinary academy. I've got to say he is entertaining. The main thing is that Bushrod kept him out of the back field for most of the game. He looked a lot more comfortable this time around.

The best thing is, that Jared Allen got absolutely nothing done against bushrod in the NFCCG. Agreed the run blocking especially was awesome
