Brees on Mike&Mike this morning.....

I hope it was because he was ragging on Drew for his cheerleading abilities...enlighten us, please...what'd he say?

Brees was basically saying that the Saints and Queens agreed to do the finger towards the sky as a sign to show fans that it's not the players causing the lockout problems and that they are unified and want football to continue.

Golic was saying basically that he thought the whole thing was uncalled for and we as fans don't care to know whats going on and just want football.

They went back and forth never agreeing...then Greeny asked him(Brees) real quick about the 49'er game....after Brees said the usual "we take every team serious" bit....Golic added real quick....Yeah you better watch out for P. Willis....he's gonna be coming after you....real smart ass like....then it was over.

Just felt like Golic was being a tool cause Brees wouldn't take his side.

I'm with Golic...we certainly don't want to see it. I don't think it was very well thought-out by the players, because IMO they put a very disturbing negative thought in our head just before the kick-off of the 1st regular season game.

It's kinda crude, but it's like getting ready to eat your favorite desert and your little brother sitting next to you at the table "rips" one.

Thats cool. It wasn't Golic's stance on the subject that irritated me. It was his smug demeanor that rubbed me the wrong way.

He's(Golic) probably just pissed that his beloved Notre Dame lost a close one to Michigan this past Saturday....lol

I know the comparison has been made that this is millionaires fighting with billionaires, but what Brees was trying to say is that they don't want us (or them) to miss any games. They don't want Football to stop or have any lockouts. They want to say that they're on our side in that regard.
