If you are trying to point my mistake...try again. Let me change the way the sentence is punctuated so you can understand...if that was intended for me, and I think it was.

If you notice, it is the correct usage of "your" as it is B4L's goal. It would read better if I would have said "attempt" instead of "trying", I will admit.

Now, if you want an example of the wrong usage...

Final edit- The reason I thought this was intended for me was because of a post I made regarding ff's usage of "there/their/they're". My post was suppose to be received by ff as some payback for a post he made about me...which I took as just some innocent chiding?...if that's a word?

Anyway, I'm sure if you keep looking you will find many other mistakes in spelling or grammar by me. I wouldn't normally go around being spell-checker or grammar police. Just having some fun with ff, which he is so apt to do with me.

I was recently checking 95 essays written by 7th graders and ran out of red ink... and unfortunately saw many of the same errors here...

and yes, you are 100% correct with YOUR usage of "your trying to place..." as 'trying' in that case is the subject being modified--- A++
