this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Would have been too much to get Parcells in here. I'm taking the cowboys against the bucs this weekend. I think Parcells could even make Brooks less than a complete wash as a qb....

I think the Cowboys have some real fight. They will probably lose, but I wouldn\'t put money on them getting killed.

I agree about Parcells and Brooks. Quincy Carter seems to be a very similar QB-- good arm, good legs, but not great reading defenses and managing the offense. So far, Parcells has made him look good, but I think he won\'t look so good this week vs. TB. I\'ll take Tampa on this one. They are going to be desperate not to fall below .500. Hopefully they\'ll win big and be ripe for a let-down next week vs. the Saints. I agree that the Cowboys won\'t roll over on this one, though.

I know this will end up on somebody\'s signature, but oh well.
I agree with saintfan and Billy. The Tampa secondary will have exactly one starter playing against Dallas on Sunday. And while Dallas has had a hard time running the ball (which seems to be the key for beating Tampa), I think the Dallas receiving corps is going to give Tampa headaches by the dozens. Terry Glenn showed last weekend what he can do. Antonio Bryant is a big physical receiver that will be hard for 2nd string guys to cover. And Galloway is always fast and should come up with a few catches. I can\'t believe I\'m saying this, but with a pretty good Dallas defense and a poor Tampa running game; I think Quincy Carter beats Tampa with his arm. Decisively. Anyway, who know\'s maybe we could win a wild card slot? Could we get it with 6-10 though? |
