The two-point subversion
Glad we eeked out the win, but I still can't believe that call on the 2-point conversion overrule in favor of the 49ers.
To me, the replay clearly showed that VD didn't demonstrate possession or secure the ball until his momentum took him out of the endzone. That ball was moving around, he didn't have it trapped against his body. And looking at it full-speed, not even the 49ers fans thought he got the conversion. Did the officials look at that doctored composite photo that they showed on TV? I hope not, because they're supposed to use video replay, not a photo. How else could they see conclusive evidence to overrule the play on the field? The replay verdict came out too quickly and was very fishy. Again, glad it didn't cost us, just added to Brees game-winning drive career stats |

I thought it was good live. After the replay, it was good. However they got there, they made the correct call.

I think it was the right call. Just glad the Saints came back with the winning FG.

The refs got it right, D needs to wake up so it doesn't come down to plays like that at the end of games

Our D is exactly what it was last year. We are winning exactly the way we did last year. We didn't dominate every game and you have to win games like this.
I do have to agree with the conversion though... I don't think there is enough to really overturn the call. You have to clearly see the ball break the plan. I read Singletary's lips and his argument was that his feet were in the end zone and that isn't a valid argument. |

Conversion call was good. We need to stop... It sounds too much like winning and whining..
Our D preforming as it did last year, does not help this year when our O is not preforming as it did last year... I know it is only week two.. I would actually prefer to peak at the end of the season rather than what we did last year at the start... That being said. I can not look dead in someones eye presently and tell him "We WILL out score your team. We do not need to stop them".... as I could last year. |

At first I thought it was no good, but I wasn't any closer than two feet from my 42".

Both the offense and the defense have to work harder to take end-game heroics off of the table. Fumbles, pics, bad calls, overturned calls, great plays, poor throws, lapses in concentration, giveaways, takeaways all become mute when you are up by 17 (3 possessions) and time is running out.
