Trade for Marshawn Lynch?
Do we trade for Marshawn Lynch and get him acclimated during the bye week?
I mean, hell, the guy could work at Marie Laveau's during the offseason till he gets his contract the way he wants... |
Wouldn't mind having another good RB. If the price is right, there's no reason not to, at least not that I can think of.
|
Lynch is 24, still young, has some great experience paying in the AFC east; Bill Belichick has a man crush on 'em...
I'd say he's worth a R3 pick or a R6 pick and a WR (i.e. Moore)... |
I don't know if we would want to give up Moore, he can run the routs that Reggie is very good at. I do like the idea of having Marshawn Lynch but I would rather see a trade for Brandon Jacobs. You know how Payton like to look at players with teams he used to be with ie Shockey, Fujita etc
|
not really...heres why...he would probably end up getting more money than PT and i think that would piss the guy off. id rather trade for a defensive person. that is our obvious weakness. we need LBs badly. vilma cant do it all himself, $hitle really showed his ass last game, and whoever it is that fills in on the other side is usually pretty sorry

Very good point SpeedyRon

Linebacker and Defensive Tackle are the most glaring weaknesses on this 2010 Saints squad; yet we are still in denial about those positions see the 2010 draft results...
But Lynch would be a far better running back than Pierre Thomas; look at what Lynch has done on some pretty bad Bills teams; think what he could do in a Sean Payton scheme... Lynch has the home run threat at the RB position that Thomas does not; and a good running game spells as good as other additions... Really think Saints should take a look at this one... |
I say we trade a few fans for a needed player. They'd likely be more loyal.
|
Lynch has som skills but is also a headcase. I would not want him to play for the Saints.
|
I'm with Speedy. I think we need a linebacker.
