The defense did not turn it over 3 times. I thought they let up some plays, but they gave us the ball to allow us to tie, and they gave us the chance to win in OT. Can't really ask for more |

Ok, Drew has been off. He engaged and came on strong today.
If you want to talk about a "BEEF" then what about the play calls on the offense? Apparently we now ONLY run out of a shotgun and ONLY throw every down. It's like we have to throw in a run play once in a blue moon just because it looks "good" or something. I'm not impressed. And we throw so much, where are the points? We're not scoring touchdowns. No sustained drives = Defense on the field the whole game = fail We missed a kick today but we needs some tuning on offense too. |

Whether by pass or run, we need to get Pierre Thomas more involved in the offense earlier in games.

This is my thoughts- Drew WAS off week 1,2, and the beginning of this game. He appeared to be tight and a little hesistant, focusing on check downs instead of looking for deep routes. I think the reason he was looking for the check downs is because he was rusty missing on passes he usually easily connects on. I had a feeling this game would knock the cobwebs off because we would have to throw alot and the tempo would be high. Sometime in the first half I believe Drew became the Drew we know. Devery dropped perfectly thrown ball that probably turns the tide our way. I think Henderson should field some of the blame. I think the one good thing is that Drew now feels comfortable and will start where he left off.
D- The defense does seem to be missing Sharper. I think that Jenkins has the tools to play the position but Sharpers wisdom is irreplaceable. I think our Secondary fed off his knowledge and swagger. His loss is having a negative effect. Shanle looked very slow. It seemed like Sedrick Ellis is having a breakout year. If our O keeps our D rested we hold Turner to 60 yds on the ground. He didn't start gashing us until they were spent. Patrick Robinson looks very raw. I think our Dline is ten times better than it was last year and it will show when our O can control the clock. Hartley- I would have made the exact same decision that SP made with the field goal. Ivory had fumbled, Pierre had just had his ankle twisted, Drew made some strange turnovers and the Falcons were trying to strip ball. It's a chip shot, that any kicker makes 44 out of 45 times. And I don't think we cut him at this time. I think he needs some work on that isolated kick that he seems to struggle with. I think this game really opened our eyes knocked some dust off and I think that we click on all cylinders here on out. |

Hartley.
All teams have ups and downs, but this team came back and put themselves in a position to win and Hartley choked. |

We don't match up well to teams that run with big backs, Atlanta=Good Running Team, Turner=Big Back.
They crammed it down our throats on the last drive. Vilma looses in the hole with a big back. |
