Drew's injury

So, Drew Brees gets body slammed to the turf on Sunday and injures his knee. The ball was long gone and what did Brees do? Got up and got on with the game. Did he gesture for a flag to be thrown? No. Know why? Because he understands that is football and doesn't spend ages whining about being roughly treated. Sorry to go back to this issue but after all the bleating about unfairness and dirty plays, where were the refs at that point? If you are able, watch that play again and see how long the ball was out AND how he was not just brought down but slammed into the ground.

Two words I hate to see in the same paragraph...

Drew Brees could have pulled the whole "Tom Brady" routine and cried to the officials how Atlanta's D wrinkled his skirt "roughing him up," but he didn't. Cause he's a real man.
