You guys can list all of the things we need to clean up in order for this to be a blow out all day long. At the end of the day if we don't play better offensive line football, we won't blow ANYONE out. Look, we just almost lost to one of the worst teams in the league because we HAD to make a play. Nowhere in the game did we pull away. I have no expectations for this game and I'm not listening to Brees or Payton about what they already know they need to fix. I can do nothing for them and talking about it doesn't help them execute. The D-Line isn't playing up to par, the linebackers aren't either. Not one aspect of our team is playing up to par to be frank. The positive, we're still winning games, which makes me believe we'll be in at least the divisional round this year. Yes, I see this as a great opportunity to get back on track offensively, but I also see this game as total offense, and zero defense. Our blitzing linebackers NEVER get through. I'm confident we'll win, which is all I care about. But I'm not making expectations. Betts should get the start also.

Im with you on this. We need some extra training over the next 4 weeks I figure to reestablish the OL/DL to its proper potential, then everything else should fall in place.
Im expecting that Payton knows this is the critical problem, and it should be addresses 1st.
If we do not show slow improvement over the next 3 games in OL/DL, and have this nipped in the bud by the steelers games, I will be disappointed.

No matter what you think of the Cardinals they are still a professional football team. The Saints need to convert in the red zone and they will win this one.

if we can hold on to the ball, it could get ugly early. we could see a team fold by half.

Clausen almost beat us last week and Max Hall will do a little of the same. We always seem to play down to the rookie QB.

Hall performed better than Anderson and Lienart in traning camp, but wasn't quite ready to be named the starter.

They are starting their best QB against us today.
