Offense Question
Got one better for you BMG.
Ever wonder why it is when they come too the Saints , they suddenly cannot catch . Conwell was brought to the Saints for his catching ability and blocking . Sloan was a Pro Bowl tight end in Detroit , man got to the Pro Bowl on a team that stunk .Conwell put up some respectable numbers with Warner and now cannot catch ??? |

Offense Question
We\'re the franchise where good tight ends go to die...
It\'s a little grim. So we\'re destroying the careers of perfectly ok tight ends for what? We don\'t use them right and we just wreck their chance at playing for another team. It\'s only fair to just use wide-outs. |

Offense Question
The Colts used to kill quarterbacks .
Saints kill tight ends . Saintsfan\'s logic kills me .... :P Why not line another tackle up at the tight end position and pound Duece ??? At least we won\'t have to count the dropped balls ...... |

Offense Question
I think all our lineman are pass blocking guys anyway.
It wouldn\'t help Duece a bit. Even though, I am consistently impressed with what he\'s able to do running behind some of those guys. |

Offense Question
Hey BMG ,
Was wondering if this is where you got your quote about Brooks being Jeff George . The key to success as a WCO running back is being able to run the ball 15-20 times a game to keep defenses off-balance, be able to throw a block and have pass catching ability. Will that have an effect on players like Stephen Davis and Ricky Williams, who haven\'t been asked to do a lot of pass catching? It well might, especially since Jeff George and Aaron Brooks much prefer to throw the ball deep than dink and dunk their way down the field. The ideal WCO running backs (when healthy) are guys like Duce Staley, Watters, Levens -- players who have the ability to run and catch. |
