DREW'S INJURY IS PROBABLY MORE SERIOUS

Thanks for the link for V-Share TV very good quality stream. It look's like Drew is more seriously injured than what they are releasing. He is definitely off in his mobility and timing not sure he can put much pressure on that knee. I suspect with the huge list of injured players he is toughing it out. I don't think SP quit or got out coached I think he is running a little low on bullets.
Some of you called it a trap game and you were right.

I don't know if it's his knee or if his mind is just elsewhere, he is expecting a new-born soon...

I am really starting to wonder if he does not have an injury to his shoulder that they are keeping quiet. He seemed to be kind of rolling his shoulder in between plays as if it was sore. That would definitely explain the lack of long ball and accuracy problems. Did any one else notice this?

You mean the mom that died last year mid-season after who's death he went on to win MVP of the SUPER BOWL???!!!

That would be one hell of a repressed reaction.

Unless you are meaning something deeper about the birth of his second child and the anniversary of his mother's suicide somehow possibly coinciding I'm thinking this is a stretch.

I think that this is getting way too "phsychological" in our analysis. Football players, play football. Favre's dad died, and he went to Oakland, and passed for like 400 yards. If I go to work, and don't do my job for a few weeks, my boss is going to fire me, not take me into his office for hot tea, and an emotional moment. Not to knock on Brees, but this is YOUR JOB. The same guy, who came out, and put his finger in the air, to show unity for the players union, the first game of the season. Obviously he wasn't thinking about kids, or his wife then, he was thinking about getting paid. I'm sorry, but the more I think about it, the more I'm not buying this kid thing. He's hurt. If not, man up, and get to work.

What's popular is not always right, and what's right is not always popular.....

I understand all of that Strat, but at the same time, there is a time, and a place for things, and on the field, with 300 pound d linemen trying to bury you, IS NOT THE TIME. We all have jobs, and when it's time to go to work, it's time to go to work. If Drew is the warrior, that we all know he is, then he's gotta leave that stuff in the parking lot.

And it's not like we are getting blown out in these losses. With the closeness of the scores of all five games, I am firm believer that a few changes, puts us right back on track. But they better get it together NOW. We can't afford to fall that far back in the division.

I started a thread about this possibility a couple of weeks ago. I know that the lack of running will shut down the long plays but it sure seems like he isn't throwing the ball deep but maybe once or twice a game and when he does he is off target or under throws the receiver causing the INT. He wasn't this off last year. I still believe there may be something with the shoulder. I hope I'm wrong.
