Just my opinion . . .
We might better get ready for more games like the one yesterday. I think we have been in denial through the 5 games this season because the dreaded Super Bowl Hangover is alive and well in the Who Dat Nation. All of us, fans and team, have been riding on last years accompplishments. We all have a bad case of the "Big Head". We are no longer humble . . . our swagger from last year has been replaced by over-confidence. All of the Two Dat talk has clouded our focus on reality. Until we, the fans and the team, become humble we can continue to suffer many more games like yesterday. At this point we will be lucky to have a remote chance at a wild card. Just my opinion . . .

Yeah I've been hit with the stupid stick. But I don't feel bad because Hebert had us at 1 loss going into the Pitt game.
I hate it when reality rains on the Superbowl Hangover Parade. But this is Nawlins. Rain won't stop a parade. Let's get Sharp and Superbowl hero back on the defense and start the winning all over again! |

Suggest the same for everyone else too. |
More like Houston (and every other NFL team) we, New Orleans, have a problem!
|
Been telling everyone this all along. We just don't have the same intensity as last year for all the reasons I've stated in other posts.
The main thing to remember is that we aren't going to win the Super Bowl every year from now on. As far as being out of it; c'mon, we're 3-2, the league's best record is 4-1 and that's only because those teams are getting the luck we were blessed with last year. Just relax and try to enjoy the season and hope we can make a run if we ever get all our injured players back. |
we will survive. the uglies

That game reminded of how saints football was played in the past. It's definately not midnight but this stagecoach is starting to turn into a pumpkin early.
|
sunday the tampons be there. get ready for another 16-13 game fellows. i hope we catch them all pumkined headed.
|
I think what the whole Saints team needs is a beat-down like Mike Singletary gave Alex Smith last night. As a matter of fact, make it two!
|
i think everyone has great points, if its brit having the boy, to paytons play calling, once there all done we will explode like pumkins on that chicks face. sorry if i knew how to upload/download i would have brought it to you

We have the foundation in place to be damn good for a long time maybe we just need to reignite the intensity. |
Ok i'll buy into what y'all are saying. But I'm still going to keep on saying
TWO DAT !! |
We need(ed) to be better than last year, every week, just to maintain some sense of Championshipitousness. I just aint see'in it, and it looks like the boys ain't feel'n it either. The "I believe I can", has to actually get done in the moment, on every play, and Sean Payton has to get every player to that place once again. As we can see, it doesn't just carry over into the new year like unused vacation. Somebody, everybody has to MAKE it happen. Prepare, believe, then make it happen. It's more than just a thought.

Lets kick Tampa's azz!
Get your psyche rooting rays tuned up. Sit in the proper position. Eat the right food. Wear the right Jersey. Focus your eyes in the proper place before the snap. Carry the correct gris-gris. Lets stop fiddling around with these opponents, WhoDats, its time we realized WE are the problem. Lets work hard this week, prepare, and get focused. Who's in with me? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHH! |

All of your comments ring true to what I was implying after last week (and that was AFTER a WIN) ... we just aren't that great and I think realistic fans can see that. I LOVE THE SAINTS, but time to be real ... Unless there is some MAJOR changes -- we'll be lucky to be in the playoffs.
Something isn't right in New Orleans ... Too many book deals, too much publicity, too much fanfare ... They aren't focused. Plain and simple. |
