By LES EAST — New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton showed up for work Monday with a lengthy fix-it list, but an unchanged demeanor.
After a sloppy 30-20 loss at Arizona on Sunday dropped the Saints to 3-2, they need to reduce their turnovers, run the ball better, be more efficient in the red zone, cover kickoffs better and stop missing chip-shot field goals. That’s a lot to work on before New Orleans visits Tampa Bay on Sunday, but Payton said Monday at his weekly news conference that it doesn’t require a lot of change in how he handles his team. “It’s not time for any chair throwing,” Payton said. “This is a veteran team. We’ll put the tape on. Our players, as they sit in the locker room right now, understand clearly the things that kept us from winning (Sunday). “Demeanor doesn’t change. It’s consistent. We have a smart team. We have a veteran team. Most importantly, the message might shift week to week, but the demeanor in how we teach and how we approach remains the same.” Read the rest here... 2theadvocate.com | Sports | Payton has lengthy list for Saints to correct — Baton Rouge, LA Last edited by papz; 12-24-2011 at 07:47 PM.. |

So after this week's lose, then when it be chair throwing time? Here's one of the biggest problems this year ... where's the fire and swagger that they played with last year

Maybe Darren Sharper has all the swagger, since he's been gone we haven't looked fired up. Now this is a veteran team so they should be always fired up, it just looks as though they can't be bothered sometimes. Thats what frustrated me.

Something's got to change, because the more games you lose, demeanor I get...damadder too! |

Remember when Payton demoted Nicks in camp? That little trick didn't get the Oline performing........Maybe it's time to see what brown can do for you.
