What is Brooks thinking?

"I don't think (the loss) was a devastating blow," Brooks said. "I think it's a small blow, a shot to the ribs."

you just got swept by the division leader. You are third in the division. The Superbowl champions are second. Your team is 3-5 and there are only 2 wildcard spots available. Why does everyone understand the position the Saints are in except their QB. That is an ignorant statement if i have ever heard one. Also does Brooks ever take any blame for any of his turnovers. Not trying to bash or anything. He had a brilliant second quarter for the most part but man I just don't get his thinking.

But before I do , Saintsfan just roll on by .

Brooks statement make sense in the following light . They are behind the Rams in the west and the Bucs in the South . The Saints control their own destiny in the South for the Wild Card if they can Beat the Bucs . If the Saints lose to the Bucs in both games it is most likely over , and this is based upon the current level of play by other wild card contenders .

Brooks statement makes sense , because the Saints do control their own destiny against the other wild card teams .

The Brooks Extreme Action Team flames 08 and WhoDat.

How dare you guys question Brooks grasp on our season. He\'s trying to step up and provide some leadership and positive thinking and he gets knifed in the back by people who are ostensibly Saints fans.

BEAT would like to remind all readers of this board who led this team to the glories of our first playoff win.
BEAT would like to remind WhoDat and 08 who is one of the top 5 qbs in the league right now.
BEAT would like to silence the critics--AB would be in the running for league MVP if Conwell and Stallworth could hang on to the dang ball.
BEAT pummell all who challenge the heart and soul of the Saints that is Aaron Brooks.
BEAT flys off to correct misconceptions about future hall of famer Brooks where ever BEAT finds them.

So he\'s trying to remain positive, yet 08 and the girls aren\'t satisfied with that either. Jeesh. Don\'t you people SEE your own agenda, or are you all too busy complimenting one another to bother?

BEAT was actually going to make saintfan a regional chairman for BEAT recruiting too.

BEAT then questions saintfan\'s devotion to Aaron Brooks and this team.
BEAT will be making a later appointment to get medieval on saintfan in order to rehabilitate him into recognizing the glory of Aaron Brooks.
