The Calm Before the Blowout
Last week I tried valiantly to convince myselft that the arizona game would be the breakout game everyone has been looking for when deep down inside I knew it wasn't going to be. In fact I knew deep down that we would probably lose. But I kept trying to convince myself otherwise.
This week I feel good about this Sunday. Don't know why but I don't have that deep feeling of despair like last week. Our offense is like the proverbial earthquake, you know, the big one everyone is waiting for. I feel the ground rumbling and someone is about to pay dearly. I feel it may be the bucs. I could be wrong but I really feel our offense is going to bust loose soon. I told myself this morning that we need to go out and hang 50+ on someone. Just start scoring and don't stop until the final whistle. To hell with respect for the other team by not running up the score. Just one game where we come out and lay waste to someone and get this monkey off our backs. This could be the week. Just a feeling. WHODAT WHODAT WHODAT WHODAT WHODAT WHODAT WHODAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS LET'S GO KICK SOME BUCS TAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I hope you're right. There is no excuse for what happened last week.

I hope you're right, I just don't see how our offense will explode until we get P.T. and/or Reggie back...

You make a good point Mitch. It may not be this week. I just hope we win at this point. But I think the explosion is coming. We may need to get a little healthier for that to happen. I just have a strange feeling about this week though. Like I said, I'll just be happy with the W.

As long as the offense doesn't force themselves to try and "breakout".

As long as Drew & Co don't also have that feeling like it's all going to come together today...because if they do, it won't.
What I'm saying is they need to stop thinking they are just a few steps away, and start actually taking some steps. |
