A final list of the players inactive versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for today's game has been released:

* RB Reggie Bush
* RB Pierre Thomas
* CB Randall Gay
* LB Scott Shanle
* CB Tracy Porter
* OT Charles Brown
* TE Tory Humphrey
* DT Junior Galette

That would mean that newly signed running back Julius Jones is active for the day and could possibly get into the game and see action. He has had a full week of practice with the Saints and if there are any issues with LaDell Betts or Chris Ivory then I'd expect Jones to take his place lined up next to Drew Brees.

Good to see that both Roman Harper and Will Smith are active for today's game. Let's just hope that they are healed enough to get considerable playing time and make their contribution.
