The Real Drew Brees is Standing Up!!!!!!

Hey Who Dat Nation, I don't really post much and I guess people who want to critize what I am about to say will point to the fact that I wrote this after a Saints win, but I thought it after the loss in Arizona just didn't have time to put it into word form.

The Real Drew Brees is standing up people. It's time for us to stop whining and get behind him. He is gonna do what he's supposed to do which is get us to the postseason. Not many QBs could pull now four and two from this mess. Sore knee, no running game, missing both starting backs, no reggie in space, drops becoming commonplace, bum kicker .... oops kickers, new backs have fumbleitis... you get the picture. We are what we are Saints fans. I know you wanna pick up the nail file instead of biting but we are just not that team, nor have we ever been. Every time we have ever done anything special has been by the edge of our pants why should this year be any different.

If we call ourselves Saints fans we should know we have a real gift from the heavens here. If I here one more WHO DAT FAN!! whine about how these Saints are not the saints of last year I will kill my self. The Brees,Peyton, Vilma regime has fought through injuries and hardships before, why should this season be any different.

Let's look at the positives shall we I think you'll see they point us in the direction of Super Bowl XLV

-Every other NFC team that is doing anything is 4-2
-No team in the NFC has a better D than the two we will face ( Baltimore and Pittsburgh)
-Pretty bull schedule running game or not

I am so glad that they won and finally had a big, clear win.
Yes, it does look like a new team from today.
Thing is now, they have to take that momentum and go with it.

Not criticizing or anything, just wondering how you see playing Baltimore and Pittsburgh defenses as a positive?

Pittsburgh is the #1 in total defense, with Baltimore at #8

We haven't played them yet, so it's unsure how our offense will respond.

Now if Brees and the offense dominates both defenses, that's a positive...

If I may, I think what he's saying is that if we survive those two games and end up in the postseason, Drew Brees will be like a kid in a candy store against any NFC d we have to face...

If that's the case and I misunderstood, I retract my previous statement. And I apologize for being harsh if I came off that way; was not my intention.

I think he was pretty much saying that the two best Defenses we face are not even NFC teams, so once we face the NFC defenses in the playoffs they will be a cakewalk compared to those two.

You didn't offend me. I invite conversation, which is what this is. I was saying that if Saints survive these Defenses and are able to move the ball against these defenses who in the NFC has a defense thats any better? Like the previous poster said. Kid in a candy store. Im just so tired of comments from Saints fans expecting us to go 13-3 again saying that these are not the saints " I " remember like there were Great Saints teams before to compare last years team to. I think we are in the midst of finding ourselves from last year and injuries have slowed that process up, but not stopped
