QB Colt McCoy could start Sunday v. New Orleans Saints
Although he tried to remain noncommital, Cleveland Browns Coach Eric Mangini conceded the obvious Wednesday in a conference call with reporters, namely that rookie quarterback Colt McCoy could start Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
The top two quarterbacks on Cleveland's depth chart, Louisiana native Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace, have both been sidelined with severe ankle sprains, and the players are not expected to practice Wednesday, according to an ESPN report. "Jake and Seneca are a week further along so we'll have to see how it goes," Mangini said. "If they can't play then Colt will start." Full article below... QB Colt McCoy could start Sunday v.
