TURLEY VS. GANDY?
Locker Room issues notwithstanding,
Who would you rather have at LT --- right now Wayne or Kyle. (Please base your response on this year's performance). As for myself, I haven't been overwhelmed by Wayne's performance thus far. Just seems like he was sold to us as some sort of "lockdown" left tackle. Quite frankly, I'm just not seeing that. |

TURLEY VS. GANDY?
Turley is a good RT (debateable)
But he sucked at LT. Gandy is 10 times better at LT. No contest. |

TURLEY VS. GANDY?
I wasn\'t really all that impressed with Turley at LT last year, but this is the first year in a long time I can remember a Saints LT getting beat as often as has happened. Gandy just appears to be one of those players who could have been a good pick up a couple of years back, but at this time he\'s just not as solid as we need.
There\'s a reason the Steelers weren\'t willing to pay what we offered him and now we\'re finding out why. Still, I wouldn\'t go so far as to say he was a FA bust, but he seems only adequate at best to me so far. And I can\'t really compare their performances this year since I haven\'t seen Turley play. |

TURLEY VS. GANDY?
I would take Gandy over Turley. I have been able to watch a few of the Spams games this season, and have watched Turley get beaten quite a few times. He is the reason why Kurt Warner got crushed in the season opener. He still hasn\'t proven himself as a top run blocker either. When we had Turley on the left side and Turley on the right 85% of the runs were on the left side and vice versa last season when Turley moved to the left side.

TURLEY VS. GANDY?
I don\'t think Turley vs. Gandy is the question we should be asking. I think the question should be; if we are going to sign a 30+ LT to a large contract, why not just keep the greatest offensive lineman to ever put on a saints uniform. By that I mean Big Willie (Like everyone didnt know that already) . I know there were issues with he and Horn, but not everyone is going to like each other. These guys are supposed to be professionals, so there is no reason they could not have reached a mutual agreement.
With that said, does anyone else think that Capers wakes up every night from the nightmare of not taking Roaf through the expansion draft |
